The India-US CEO Forum’s Working Group 7 (WG7) on Entrepreneurship, Inclusive Growth, and Promoting Small Businesses has launched a bilateral knowledge-sharing platform and an innovation hackathon named “Prakshepan.” This initiative, announced during a dialogue on inclusive growth and empowering startups and MSMEs in the digital age, aims to enhance bilateral trade, foster innovation, and integrate MSMEs into the global supply chain.
Key components of the launch include:
- Nihit Knowledge Platform: Designed to facilitate knowledge sharing between India and the US, this platform aims to boost job creation and support MSMEs and startups.
- Prakshepan Hackathon: Focused on innovation, this hackathon offers a prize pool of up to INR 1 crore and emphasizes mentoring and accelerating women-led startups, aiming for 50% female participation.
- Cybersecurity & AI Capacity Building Workshops: These workshops will equip MSMEs and startups with the tools to protect themselves from online threats and build resilient security structures.
Speakers at the event highlighted the importance of these initiatives in fostering a secure and inclusive environment for businesses to thrive. Dr. Subi Chaturvedi of InMobi emphasized the role of these efforts in unlocking trade and promoting socio-economic development. Major Vineet Kumar of CyberPeace Foundation underscored the goal of creating a safe internet for all.
